There are a number of ways that you can support the Brown Spectator. And, believe it or not, you can actually support the Spectator without actually giving any money. While outright, cash donations are definitely our favorite to receive, for students; recent, poor alums; and those who just want to help out in whatever way they can but don’t necessarily have the means to to send money, we would love for you to consider using the following links. If you shop at any of the retailers below, then, before you make a purchase come to this site, and use this page to navigate to whatever shop you are going to buy from. We get a percentage of whatever you spend. Basically, you spend money in the normal course of your day, we get money because you clicked on our link. It’s really that simple. If you’re a rich trillionaire, however, who just wants to give a massive donation to the Spectator, that’s fine too. We won’t stop you. If that’s what you want to do, just click on the link below.
Books
Barnes & Noble is one of the nation’s biggest online book retailers. While they do not sell used books like Amazon.com, they are the go-to source for new books, movies, magazines subscriptions and the like.
AbeBooks is a great place to find great deals on textbooks. If you’re looking for something really cheap, look especially close at the “international edition” of popular textbooks. They are usually 10% to 50% of the price they are in the states.
Audible is the internet’s marketplace for audio books. Having books read to you is both convenient and likely to bring back childhood memories. If you are a serial audiobookfile (is that a word?), check out audible’s selection. You won’t be disappointed.
Clothing
Cafe Press sells all sorts of user-created content. You can buy clever gear from the Spectator store or you can buy anything else that you’d like. Just make sure to click our link.
