Well put — sadly, these Obama worshippers will probably kill you for writing this.

Sadly, this article is a mere personal attack, which only degrades the quality of the magazine.

Summary of first half of article: “Obama has a large ego. a REALLY large ego!!! its BIGG!!!”

    Then you drop this bombshell:
“Mr. Obama’s ego may be overinflated, but surprisingly, that is not what makes him dangerous. ”
Translation: All the stuff I said about obama’s big ego? I just wasted your time. Because him having a large ego doesn’t matter. Here comes a totally separate issue that matters.

Let’s go down your deep analysis of why Obama’s a bad candidate:

You describe government as having “octopus-like tentacles”. Which I suppose is a lot worse than if government had tentacles that were more “squid-like”.

You say “Mr. Obama plans to increase taxes with the intention of redistributing incomes.”, without acknowledging that Bush has been giving the rich tax cuts for many years.

You say “Further, using the power of taxation and piggy-backing off America’s wealthy, Mr. Obama plans on providing a faulty nationalized healthcare plan.”
The analysis here is simply brilliant. The adjective “faulty” REALLY tells me what’s wrong with obama’s healthcare plan! Thanks for getting into the details here!

You say “Instead of allowing large oil corporations to act autonomously, Mr. Obama plans on digging deep into their profits, and effectively rendering them unable to invest in new technologies that will ultimately make us independent of international oil.”
You provide absolutely zero evidence for the following assumptions and claims:
    1) large oil corporations have an intention of investing in said new technologies instead of simply lining the pockets of executive officers
    2) oil corporations will not have “autonomy” (whatever that means in your small world) after tax increases
    3) oil corporations are the only entities capable of making us independent of international oil (gov’t funded r&d, anyone?)

You say “Obama’s election to the government foreshadows an inevitable (and exponential) increase in the size of our national government, with him on the helm.”
I really don’t know how you calculated “exponential” here. Do you know how exponents work?
The federal government spent close to 3 trillion dollars in fiscal year 2007. For Obama to increase the size of our national government by the smallest integer exponent that is not 1, he would have to increase spending to 3^2 trillion dollars. That’s spending 9 trillion dollars.
Do you seriously think that Obama is going to approve 6 trillion dollars in new spending?

“Instead of taxing, Obama should focus on limiting the size of our federal government, giving tax credits, and lessening the tax burdens; all of these maneuvers would ensure increased economic activity, a much needed development in these past slumping quarters.”
Yes, all those tax cuts for the rich did wonders for the Bush presidency! Oh wait, who was the president leading the charge into these “past slumping quarters” again…?

“Not surprisingly, Sen. John McCain’s economic platform involves heavy use of tax credits, reduced taxes, and commitments to keep congress from raising taxes.”
Really? He uses “reduced taxes” to stop “raising taxes”? That’s f-ing brilliant!

I’d also like to mention that while you point out that his running mate has 20+ years of experience, you totally disregard it.
What does the resume of the VP pick on the other side look like? I’ll tell you what the resume looks like. It looks like the winner of a beauty pageant in a state outside of the continental US. That’s the kind of VP I need.

All in all, very insightful analysis! You sir, have the IQ of a chair.
