What are your credentials, Pratik Chougule? I lived through the Great Depression, WWII, the Cold War, and have watched our country corrupted by the extreme left-wing liberals. Could you be writing your comments on the Cold War, with an ulterior motive? Anyone responding in positive support of your expressed opinions… could be targeted as ‘unfriendly’ to the extreme liberals. Targeting could make such a person an outcast in our universities, public schools, and would suffer at the hands of the large liberal elements of our society.
At this moment, I’m wondering why no other comments appear in response to your writing. Would it be comforting to believe that the communist underground/extreme liberals are so powerful as to discourage criticism?
    A response would be appreciated.

I will answer in a positive light. I think the article was fair and forward. At times it felt like there was an agenda and then I would read the next sentence and there would be a rebuttal. I agree, extreme liberals or “extreme” anything has no place in our lives except ESPN. I found it interesting that though the media was a prime advocate against McCarthy, which was a good thing, they were also a contributor to defending those who were out destroy our country. Gee, sounds a lot like today’s media who most have graduated from liberal colleges and have carried their agenda to the masses.
Look, nothing complicated here Carl. Communist did infiltrate our government. The media brought down the captain of the witch hunt, then went on to defend the “witches” and even non-media persons jumped on the band wagon to discredit those who, evidently, were telling the truth. I think its a story of vindication on the part of those who were the real patriots. Don’t feel that way? Go against the grain of the day and see what your called.
