Way back when McCain was ahead in the polls — all of one month ago — an 11-year old Colorado boy was suspended from his public school for refusing to take off a shirt on which he had written, ‘Obama is a terrorist’s best friend’. This story keeps getting better and better. Apparently, the boy had worn the shirt on a school-spirit holiday, where students were asked to show their patriotism by sporting shirts decorated with red, white, and blue. The boy chose to exercise his right to free political speech by attacking, albeit in a small way, the Democrats’ current nominee. For his courage if not his views, we commend this brave young warrior, as well as his father, who noted, ‘It’s the public school system. Let’s be honest, it’s full of liberal loons’. Right you are, sir. We might suggest sending your son to a private school, if that is still allowed under an Obama administration.
